Our Fine Print
Purchases on our online shop can be paid for by credit card, internet banking or PayPal.
All purchases made on our online shop are final. Once you have completed checkout and we have received payment the goods will be shipped to the address you have provided (or held for you to pick up if you select that option).
You are responsible for making the correct identification and selection of your vehicle model (including year and variant details if appropriate). Please remember that older vehicles may have undergone modifications over their life and incorrect parts may be fitted. Without this information we can only go by the original specification for the model/year/variant. In addition there can be a difference between the registered year of the vehicle and the actual model year – particularly around model change years. If you are uncertain you should contact us to discuss. Any parts you order that turns out to be incorrect for your vehicle will be exchanged BUT all costs associated with making the exchange will be yours.
We endeavour to have all items listed in our online shop in stock. However, our system is not currently “live” so occasionally due to a recent sale we may not be able to immediately fulfil your order. In this situation we will contact you as soon as we become aware. We will inform you of the ETA of the item and discuss any alternative delivery options we can offer you.
All orders will be shipped on the first working day after receipt of payment.
Within NZ we generally ship by courier. For destinations in the North Island this is usually an overnight service. To the South Island it is a two day delivery. Where the courier company deems an address to be “Rural Delivery” an additional charge will apply. Delivery time may increase a day or two. We can offer an overnight service to many South Island addresses for an additional charge.
We cannot guarantee a specific delivery time. Once an item is in the possession of the courier company it is out of our control. We do use courier companies which we have found to be trustworthy and reliable over the years. However, delays do occasionally occur.
Our online shipping calculator works on the basis of your postal code. It is based on a fairly complex matrix involving delivery location and item size. Our testing has shown that it works well with single items and can also calculate for multiple items but when an order contains a number of items of differing sizes it may not always get it right. For this reason we reserve the right to recalculate and if necessary revise the shipping charges on any order where we find the calculator to have been incorrect. We will contact you to arrange any appropriate change in shipping. If our shipping price seems to you to be either substantially too high or too low for the item/s and the destination please contact us for confirmation.
For large, heavy, or bulky items, or orders consisting of a large quantity of items the shipping calculator may not have an appropriate option loaded and will state that a shipping cost is not available, In this case please contact us for a shipping quote.
If our shipping calculator offers you more than one shipping option you may choose the option which best suits your needs.
We do offer sales and shipping to overseas destinations but there are so many shipping options we are unable to provide an automatic international shipping calculator. When you enter your address you will receive a message that no shipping rate is available. Please contact us for a quote.
We welcome purchases from garages and workshops and we offer you trade discounts. If you are a Trade customer you can purchase parts in our online shop but first you will need to contact us to get a discount coupon. Once your discount coupon is activated you will be able to enter it on our checkout whenever you return to our site.
